I bought my Honda Accord Euro brand new for over 4 years now. Though I've my car serviced regularly by the authorised dealer, they never change the cabin filter throughout the ownership of my car. By the way, I never knew it came with a cabin filter! When my friend mentioned about the benefit of cabin filter being fitted in a car, I opened up the cabin filter compartment and found it extremely full of dust, pollen, soot and grime! I was recommended to purchase an activated carbon filter from CairFil online and got it installed in my Honda Accord Euro and since then I can't praise it enough.

When my husband showed me the dirty filter he just got out from his car cabin filter compartment, I couldn't wait to find out if there's any cabin filter installed in my Honda Odyssey - the cabin filter compartment was empty and it's an optional item. My husband got one for me from CairFil online; since then I was completely convinced with the air quality it gives me and my family when travelling in my Honda Odyssey!
My recommendation: Get an activated carbon filter & drive in a car with clean filtered fresh air! You'll be surprised the difference it makes in your driving experience - especially when you're driving behind a diesel engine car!

I’d my car cabin filter installed a year ago just for a tryout. When CairFil reminded me of the replacement, I took out the old cabin filter and found masses of dirt (comprised of pollen, dust, soil, leaves and insects) trapped inside the filter! Without the filter my car's air cond unit would have been malfunctioned due to the dirt stacked in the HVAC system. I’m impressed! I suggest all who do not have one – get one! Why breathe in filthy air when you can have clean filtered fresh air?

At first, I was rather sceptical about the benefit of a cabin filter; probably because I don't know how the carbon can remove odours, but it does! Most significantly, the cabin filter could in fact trap all the leaves, dust and pollen from outside, making my car cleaner (less dusty) and thus fresher air inside the car!
Bottom line I was fairly impressed, it was worth it in my opinion and dead easy to fit.
