INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILTER CHANGE
How to change air filter?
Caifil provides DIY cabin filter replacement reference. For detailed installation instruction refer to Cairfil's website.
For most car models, the filters are readily accessible under the dashboard behind the glove box (see the following illustration).
In order to make installation and removal easier, customers could refer to the Installation Instructions for a particular type of vehicle which is on the CairFil's website i.e. www.cairfil.com.au.
This is to ensure that the cabin filter can be located quickly, plus reference for detailed installation steps. There is also explicit information on special aspects of particular installations.
The installation will usually take about 5 to 10 minutes depending on the car model. Please see our website for your model and its installation steps in detail.

DIY cabin filter replacement saves time and money and gives a peace of mind that the filter has been installed correctly.
Alternatively, visit a Cairfil appointed car workshop to carry out the installation. Or call Cairfil to arrange an appointment to show you how to install it (if you are still not confident to DIY.)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!
The cabin filter for passenger vehicles
may not be cleaned or blasted with compressed air.
This has the effect of embedding microscopic contaminant particles
more deeply in the substructure of the filter paper. The consequence of this is reduced air flow. In addition,
there is a risk of tearing the filter medium and
destroying the activated carbon layer.
